Bio:
Burgess is passionate about helping others reach their fullest potential and walking alongside them through the process. He currently works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, spiritual conflicts, and addiction. The approaches he most frequently uses are Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic Therapies.
Before becoming a counselor, Burgess worked in education, athletics, and church ministry for almost 10 years, helping to train students and athletes in various areas of life.
Burgess currently lives in Murfreesboro, TN, with his wife, Morgan, and daughter, Ellie.
Burgess is working toward full licensure under the supervision of Phil Herndon, LPC-MHSP, Clinical Director of River Tree Center.
