It is difficult to address the present issue without establishing a foundation. In the first session of the program, each individual will spend time recognizing what they hold onto as truth and identifying their areas of major love and pain. By walking through this process, it will help them confirm what they have come from and who they are now. This will be the foundation we build from.
Once a foundation is laid, we can address the NOW! Performing, in and of itself, can be a damaging process for athletes. It can often create a world of fear and anger that is unsettled by constant obligation and expectation weighing on their shoulders. In this session we will be reordering the priorities of performance and uncovering the hostile activity.
We cannot do this alone. Realistically we can all use all the help we can find. This session will be focused entirely on creating and maintaining that help. Tools to locate support for struggles are a necessity for any athlete or individual. We will seek to find and create safe places in our lives so we can remain healthy even when things are not going the way we had hoped.
